Forest River RV - Choosing the Right Motorhome

campers

If you buy a Forest River RV, you are buying a high quality motor home that can be enjoyed for decades. Depending upon your preferences, and of course your budget, there are several different RVs available. Choosing can be difficult.

If you want a luxury Class A diesel motor coach, you might want to look at the Berkshire. It has outstanding amenities, and you pay about the same as you would for a gas motor home. It has amenities like automatic door and patio awnings. It has a 32 inch LCD TV and quite a bit of room for other types of entertainment.

The Berkshire has room for a queen sized bed, facing loveseat and sofa, and a bath and shower. Everything is convenient in the kitchen. The Berkshire has a Raised Rail XC chassis and either a Cummins 340 horsepower or a Cummins 350 engine. It is designed with power and efficiency.

The Charleston is another diesel RV that is built to last. This motor home can provide a steady residence with its large living room, dining room, bedroom and its bathroom. You have many choices to make once you decide upon the Charleston. You get to select all the fabrics and floorings in the RV.

The Georgetown is a gas Forest River RV made for the customer with a preference for options. The Georgetown comes in several models, each a little different. Some have king beds while others have queen beds. Some have only microwaves in the kitchen while others have full kitchens including refrigerators and sinks.

You can get Georgetown motorhomes with sofas and loveseats, recliners, or just sofas. Some have shirt closets or wardrobes. There are different exterior paint options as well, making the Georgetown one of the most option-rich motor homes on the market.

There are two Class C options available with Forest River RV. One is the Forester and the other is the popular Sunseeker. The Forester motor home is filled with designer touches and quality materials like maple for the cabinets.

The Forester is a little smaller than the Georgetown or the Charleston, but it is still fairly spacious. Its different floor plans offer a sofa area that becomes a dinette. An optional TV or entertainment center is included. Most models have a queen-sized bed, although there are other choices on used motor homes.

The Sunseeker is roomy, too, with 7 foot high ceilings. There is space available for a 25 inch color TV entertainment center in the front. The cockpit seating has recently been redesigned with a flat-floor design. There are overhead storage spaces throughout the living and kitchen areas. You can get a Sunseeker on a Ford or Chevy chassis.

If you are looking for something a little smaller and easier to drive, the Lexington is a good option. It is a Class B motor home made by Forest River. For its size, it is one of the most luxurious motor homes available. It has solid maple cabinet doors and drawers and only the best designer fabrics and materials.

There are many Forest River recreational vehicles models to choose. You just have to know what you are looking for and what is available. A Forest River RV is a good investment whether you are buying it from a reputable used RV seller or directly from the manufacturer.
